This may be a given, but I thought I'd post it anyway. We played our own version of basketball, but with socks and a basket. Both kids found it to be great fun (and mom and dad as well!) and really, how much damage can you do with socks?

FUN THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR KIDS
Being a stay at home mom with an eleven month old girl, a 4 year old boy and a 5 year old girl, I'm always on the lookout for fun things to do that get them away from the tv. This is stuff that works for us!
Just a couple of notes:
1- I've labled most of these ideas for baby fun and toddler fun because those are what I have. :) Lot of these ideas are great (or can easily be adapted) for older kids.
2- Anything and everything can pose a risk for a child in one way or another. If you use any of these ideas, please supervise your children and do what you know is best for them.

You'll have them trained to sort their own laundry in no time! Really, though, my kids would love that!
